Department publishes on environmentally friendly behavior in international journal

Based on the Value-Belief-Norm (VBN) theory, the publication shows that in more than 500 dual students in the fields of technology and business, value influences environmentally friendly behavior. This environmentally friendly behavior is expressed in (1) willingness to pay, (2) consumption-based behaviors and (3) activist engagement. The relationships were explained via the mediating factors (mediator variables) collective guilt (Belief), the perceived environmental threat (Belief) and the feeling of moral obligation (Norm).
